Adventure, Learning, and Fun!
Every Cub Scout deserves the chance to experience the magic of camp! Whether it’s a whole week at our Day Camp or Twilight Camps or a few days of overnight excitement at one of our Resident Camps, our Cub Scout camps provide an incredible opportunity for Cub Scouts to explore the outdoors, develop new skills, and make lifelong memories.
Why Attend Cub Scout Camp?
- Outdoor Adventures – From learning how the world works around them, to hands-on activities featuring local plants and critters, Cub Scouts get to experience nature like never before.
- Exciting Activities – From range & target activities, fishing, STEM, water games, crafts, campfire stories, and so much more —there’s something for every Cub Scout to enjoy!
- Building Confidence – Trying new challenges helps Cub Scouts grow in independence, teamwork, and leadership.
- Earning Achievements – While not the main goal of camp (which is to have FUN), some activities may tie into various Cub Scout achievements, helping Cub Scouts advance while having fun.
- Making New Friends – Camp is a place where Cub Scouts connect, learn from each other, and create friendships that last a lifetime.
What types of camps are there?
- Day Camps – A fun-filled camp experience during the day with exciting activities like crafts, games, and outdoor adventures, all while returning home each evening. These camps are held at various locations in Berks and Schuylkill Counties.
- Twilight Camps – An evening camp designed for Cub Scouts and their families who want to enjoy outdoor activities, campfires, and adventures later in the day. Just as fun as our day camps, just in the evening! These camps are held at various locations in Berks and Schuylkill Counties.
- Resident Camps – An overnight camping experience where Scouts stay for multiple days, immersing themselves in outdoor skills, adventures, and camp traditions. Hosted at Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation, Cub Scouts will have all the great activities offered at our day and twilight camps, as well as exclusive activities like our Cub Confidence Course – featuring a trolley line (Cub Scout sized zipline), this area also has a horizontal rock climbing wall, a nitro swing element, and an obstacle course! Cub Scouts will also have the chance to swim our full size swimming pool and fish in our 11 acre lake, to name a few!
To put it simply, any of our camps will be an unforgettable experience!
Cub Scout camps are filled with laughter, discovery, and the thrill of learning by doing – every moment at camp is packed with adventure and excitement.
