Click the links below to download a selection of landscape or portrait orientation cards. To have cards made, fill out and “print to PDF” using the steps below:
- Fill out selected cards
- Select the “Print” option in the menu
- Set the page range for the specific cards you filled out
- Select “Microsoft Print to PDF” from the list of installed printers
- Click the “Print” button. You’ll then be asked to provide a name and location for your new PDF file
- Attach it to an email to your District Executive and we’ll get them printed for you! If you have any trouble, we can help!

We encourage online registration through BeAScout.org. Your District Executive can provide you with custom QR code sheets.
Youth Applications are available for download in English & Español
Adult Applications are available for download in English
- In addition to completed applications, Adult Applications require Pennsylvania Background Checks, and completed Youth Protection Training.

The Hawk Mountain Council
Teaching leadership & values while providing recreational activities for children of all ages, The Hawk Mountain Council, Boy Scouts of America headquartered in Reading, PA serves more than 4,000 young people in three Pennsylvania counties:
- Berks County
- Schuylkill County
- Carbon County (Panther Valley School District Only)
It is among the largest youth-serving organizations in the three-county area led by over 1,500 volunteers. Hundreds of community groups representing educational, religious, non-profit, civic, and business organizations join in partnership with Hawk Mountain Council by chartering over 140 Scouting units (Packs, Troops, Crews, Posts, and STEM Scout Labs).

We would like to say thank you. Thank you for your willingness to try out our great organization and all the fantastic benefits it has to offer your boy as he grows. Scouting is about character development and having confidence in yourself to Be Prepared!
The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is the largest youth organization in the United States with over 1.5 million youth members and 1 million registered adult leaders.
Locally, the Hawk Mountain Council serves over 5,500 young men and women through the dedication of over 2,000 adult leaders and Friends of Scouting. We partner with over 160 churches and civic organizations that host one of our Scouting units. Together, our family provides over 305,000 community service hours each year.

You love exploring your passions, making new friends, and discovering the world. You’re always looking for an adventure. Rappelling a cliff. Perfecting your shot. Designing a robot. Kayaking into the sunset. Exploring your faith. Volunteering at an animal shelter. The choice is yours! Each activity provides an opportunity to shine and learn more about yourself and the world around you. Venturing is youth-led and youth-inspired. You’ll acquire life skills and gain experiences that will prove to be valuable regardless of where your future takes you, all while having a blast: leadership, event-planning, organization, communication, responsibility – the list goes on!

Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family. In Scouting, boys and girls start with their best right now selves and grow into their very best future selves. It’s fun, hands-on learning and achievement that puts kids in the middle of the action and prepares them for today – and for life.
Aims and Methods
Aims and Methods: The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
There are four aims of Scouting: citizenship, character, personal fitness, and leadership.
The methods of Cub Scouting are: living the ideals, belonging to a den, advancement, family involvement, activities, serving the community, and the uniform.
