Learn about Leadership from the BSA – Take Wood Badge 2019
Not only is the BSA a leading outdoor character-building program for youth, the BSA delivers the aims of scouting to adults as well. Adults become better citizens through community involvement; they improve their mental and physical fitness through outdoor challenges and learning new things; most importantly, they become better leaders.
Based on the latest in corporate and academic leadership development techniques and the values of the BSA, the Wood Badge course is an exceptional opportunity for you as an adult leader to develop a leadership tool kit that will help you in scouting and in your work and personal life. Working with a team of other scout volunteers from Cub Scouting, Scouts BSA and Venturing, you will learn goal-setting, communication, project planning and teamwork skills and have lots of fun while doing it! This course is open to any adult leader who is position trained – all levels of experience in Scouting are desired.
Don’t miss this chance to be the best leader you can be (for your scouts and for you). Financial assistance is available.
