OA – Section E11 Conclave

Tentatively to be hosted by Hawk Mountain Council, Kittatinny Lodge, at the Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation. More info to follow.

OA Section E11 Conclave

The inaugural Section E11 Conclave to be held at Hidden Valley Scout Reservation, New Birth of Freedom Council, in Loysville, PA, hosted by Sasquesahanough Lodge 11. There will be a Medieval Theme !

Open to all current OA members. Cost $40.00. The section has currently allotted 35 members from Kittatinny to participate. Arrowmen must find their own transportation to Conclave, so we suggest unit carpools, etc.

REMINDER: Scouting youth under age 18 are not insured under the BSA’s commercial general liability policy and cannot be allowed to drive to or from Scouting activities. This includes an under-18 Scout or Venturer driving himself or herself to a Scouting event, even if he or she is the only one in the car.

Next to a Jamboree and a NOAC, the section conclave is probably the largest inter-council event in the Boy Scouts of America. What happens at a section conclave can make a big difference in the effectiveness of lodge and chapter programs of the Order of the Arrow and in the dedication of an individual Arrowmen.

OA NE-6B Section Conclave

Guneukitschik Lodge 317 (Mason-Dixion Council) is proud to welcome all Arrowmen of Section NE-6B to Sinoquipe Scout Reservation in Fort Littleton, Pennsylvania! The 2021 Conclave is a weekend-long event filled with fun, fellowship, and limitless opportunities. Take advantage of everything that the newly remodeled Sinoquipe Scout Reservation has to offer by enjoying activities in their newly minted pool or at the camp’s other program areas. Represent your lodge by competing in Lodge vs Lodge competitions hosted in an Olympic style.  This is a can’t-miss event with great food and amazing fellowship!

Scouts participating must arrange transportation to/from the event, and this year (due to Covid restrictions) will be required to bring their own tent & camp chair. We will be limited to 26 spots to fill for this event, and the cost is $45.

NOTE: If you are considering applying for a Section Scholarship to attend a National OA High-Adventure program, attendance at Conclave is required.

National Youth Leadership Training

National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is the premier youth leadership program offered by Hawk Mountain Council. NYLT is an exciting, action-packed program designed to provide youth members with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home troops and crews, and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others.
