The Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation is a 700-acre tract of land in eastern Pennsylvania dedicated to offering Scouts the chance to experience the beauty of the outdoors. We serve over 2,000 youth members each summer.
New Programs and Camping Opportunities Summer/Fall 2020
Starting July 10, Scouts BSA Units may camp overnight at Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation.

Scouts BSA - Summer and Fall Programs at HMSR
All availability will be on a first come first serve basis.
Weekend Camping: Limited availability on boating, rifle range, and archery on Saturdays.
Weekday Camping: Limited availability on rifle range and archery.
All registrations will be done through Tentaroo. When making your site reservation you will be able to sign up for your activities.
The Hawk Mountain Council has two Task Forces working on developing summer and fall program activities for our Scouts BSA members. One task force is focused on in-person activities and the other task force is working on virtual offerings.
- Track 1: Canoeing merit badge
- Track 2: Birds Study and Mammal Study merit badges
- Track 1: Pathfinder for new Scouts (includes the Indian Lore and Nature merit badges) – Register in Tentaroo

Year-Round Camp Reservations Open!
We are currently taking reservations for summer and fall camping at HMSR which will be opening to unit camping and activities on July 10, 2020.
A full list of available facilities, the capacities and the cost are outlined in our Year-Round Camping Guidebook.
Also included in the Guidebook are the other program choices available, i.e. boating and shooting sports (rifle and archery).
All registrations are made through the Tentaroo system. When making your reservations you need to book your site first and then complete a second registration for your program choices.

Hawk Mountain Reservation has Camp Masters on duty weekends throughout the year and they are able to assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
The Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation offers fall, winter, and spring outdoor facilities to Scouting and Non-Scout Groups.
You can tent camp year-round or you may want to use one of our many lodges. A full list of our facilities, the capacities, and the cost is outlined in our Year-Round Camping Guidebook

*Non-Scouting use of the facility requires a certificate of insurance and a hold harmless agreement.
