Black Rock Klondike Derby – Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA Events

Join us for a day of Scouting learning and fun in the winter environment of Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation! There are specific distinct events for Scouts BSA and Cub Scouts.

Participating youth are $10 – Scouts BSA event includes event patch depicted below and dinner, Cub Scout event includes event patch depicted below and lunch with some take home crafts!
Leaders / Chaperones are $5 and includes associated meal

Youth (16+) and Adult Staff are needed to make both events successful! If interested, contact Cole at the office. Staff will receive a special staff CSP! Staff for either event are $5 and in addition to the special staff CSP, the fee includes associated meal and the event patch depicted below, and a special staff CSP – we need both youth (16+) and adults to make it successful!
*Adult / staff fees are to offset youth costs

Please note all participants, leaders, chaperones, and staff need to have parts A and B of the BSA medical form – a fillable PDF copy is available HERE.

Cabins and campsites are available for rental through the usual process. They may fill up quick, so book yours today! To access the camp’s reservation system, click HERE or access it from the “Year-Round Camping” tab on the website.

All youth participants receive the patch depicted below (actual sew out of patch). Additional patches can be purchased for $5.
