Get ready for the annual Klondike Derby, an unforgettable winter adventure filled with challenges, teamwork, and fun. Join us for a day of exciting outdoor activities as we test our Scouting skills, survival instincts, and camaraderie in the snowy wilderness of Hawk Mountain Scout Reservation! There are specific distinct events for Scouts BSA and Cub Scouts.

Cub Scouts:

• Participating Cub Scout youth are $10 – event includes patch depicted below, lunch, and program supplies!
• This event will be from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM with lunch.

Scouts BSA:

• Participating Scouts BSA youth are $15 – event includes patch depicted below, a full dinner, and program supplies!
• This event will be from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with closing awards and dinner.
• Arm your Troop or Crew with the knowledge to succeed – Leader guide available HERE!
• Returning this year – Advanced Trail for experienced and / or older youth! Consult the additional Advanced Trail Guide HERE for more information.

All attendees need Parts A and B of the BSA medical form – it’s easiest to keep them with your onsite Unit Leader! To download a fillable PDF of the most current version if needed, click HERE.

For both events, Leaders / Chaperones are $5 and includes associated meal and refreshments.

Youth (16+) and Adult Staff are needed to make both events successful! If interested, contact Cole at the office. Staff will receive a special staff CSP! Staff for either event are $5 and in addition to the special staff CSP, the fee includes associated meal! We need both youth (16+) and adults to make it successful!
