BALOO Training

October 11, 2019 @ 6:00 PM - October 12, 2019 @ 6:00 PM

$15
  • « Cacoosing District Roundtable
  • Intro to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) – Campout Style »

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) is training for Cub Scout leaders who wish to take their packs or dens on outdoor camping trips. While not required to be considered position trained, it is required before taking Cub Scouts on a camping trip.

Enroll in our October BALOO Course now on Tentaroo!

BALOO will be offered the same weekend as IOLS (Intro to Outdoor Leader Skills), which is a required training for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters in Scouts BSA Troops. If you are a Webelos Den Leader or expect to continue volunteering with a Scouts BSA Troop, we encourage you to also sign up for this weekend’s IOLS course so that you are prepared when you cross over or to give your Webelos a bigger perspective of what awaits them in Scouts BSA. You can also sign up for IOLS on Tentaroo.
