Citizenship in Society Merit Badge
Citizenship in Society is a new merit badge that will be required for the rank of Eagle Scout as of July 1, 2022. The emphasis of Citizenship in Society is for Scouts to explore ways to live the Scout Oath and Scout Law. This merit badge is different; there will be no merit badge book and there is no “correct” answer for any of the requirements. Thank you to our Council DEI Taskforce for completing their work on preparing their recommendations to the Executive Board on our DEI Goals.
