HIGH ADVENTURE

The Hawk Mountain Council provides High Adventure opportunities for Scouts age 14 and older.

Hawk Mountain supports an annual trek to Philmont Scout Ranch.  Philmont contains 330 miles of challenging trails throughout the 137,493 acres of the majestic Sangre de Christo Mountains. This experience coupled with a round-trip tour, by air or by bus, stopping to see and tour exciting attractions along the way is surely a once in a lifetime adventure.

Opportunities are also available to units at two other National High Adventure Bases: the Florida High Adventure Sea Base in the Florida Keys, and the Northern Tier High Adventure Bases in Minnesota.
